Helga Ringeltaube, was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1958. Grown up close to nature, she enjoyed painting since her early childhood and soon added experience with all sorts of techniques, showing great creativity and manual skills working with fabrics, glass, wood, porcelain, leather, metal, etc. From 1995 to 2010 she taught arts and crafts at the German School in Montevideo, Uruguay and created various wall-paintings on public squares and libraries with her students. In 2007 she moved to Germany for one year, where she taught courses of painting techniques at the Superior Arts School and at the Art Gallery “La Planie” in Reutlingen, and also presented her own paintings at several art-exhibitions with great success. Curious, restless and completely self-made, her professional commitment to each art work clearly tells about her passion for painting.

Helga Ringeltaube, nació en Montevideo, Uruguay en 1958. Criada en estrecho vínculo con la naturaleza, comienza desde temprana edad a disfrutar de la pintura, experimentando con las más diversas técnicas. Desde pequeña se destaca por su gran creatividad y habilidad manual con hilados, vidrio, madera, porcelana, cuero, metal, etc. De 1995 a 2010 trabaja como docente de expresión plástica y manual en el Colegio y Liceo Alemán de Montevideo, Uruguay, realizando con sus alumnos varios murales en espacios públicos y bibliotecas en forma benéfica. En 2007 se muda a Alemania por un año, donde se dedica a pintar y dictar cursos y talleres de experimentación plástica en la Escuela Superior de Arte y en el Centro de Artes Plásticas “La Planie”, en Reutlingen, presentando sus obras en varias exposiciones con gran éxito. Curiosa, incansable y completamente autodidacta, su dedicación profesional hacia cada una de sus obras habla claramente de su pasión por la pintura.
